DESCRIPTION:Data Week NL in Den Bosch\n\n\nInternet of Things (IoT). Artificial Intelligence (AI). Machine learning (ML). Waarschijnlijk heb je deze ‘datagerelateerde termen’ weleens voorbij zien komen\, maar voelen ze nog als een ver-van-je-bed-show. Onterecht\, want de rol van data in ons dagelijks leven wordt alleen nog maar groter. Veel organisaties en onderwijsinstellingen zetten al jaren vol in op de kansen die data bieden. Tegelijkertijd zijn veel burgers zich nog (te) weinig bewust van de invloed van data. \nData = waarde. We verbeteren de gezondheidszorg door slim gebruik te maken van data. We optimaliseren bedrijfsprocessen en vinden antwoorden op mobiliteitsvraagstukken en de energietransitie met de inzet van data. Er zijn legio voorbeelden. Maar…het verzamelen en interpreteren van data herbergt ook uitdagingen en risico’s. Hoe zorgen we ervoor dat er in ons onderwijs voldoende aandacht is voor de kansen die digitalisering biedt? Ook moeten we oog hebben voor veiligheid en privacy. En daarbovenop: hoe blijft iedereen aangehaakt en voorkomen we digitale ongeletterdheid? Want die slimme datatrein dendert voort. En vereist datavaardigheid. Stof tot nadenken. \nSamen\nDatastad ’s-Hertogenbosch focust zich – met onderwijspartners Avans\, HAS\, JADS en Koning Willem I College en toonaangevende databedrijven in de gelederen – continu op deze belangrijke vraagstukken. Tijdens Data Week NL bieden we een podium aan ondernemers\, organisaties en onderwijsinstellingen die laten zien wat anno nu de kracht van data is. En belangrijk: ook de mogelijke schaduwzijden van het gebruik van (big) data komen aan bod. \nData Week NL ‘ademt’ van 27 juni t/m 2 juli 2022 zes dagen lang data midden in de Brabantse hoofdstad. Onder andere in het Innovatie Kwartier voeden we vernieuwing\, kennisdeling en beleving. Zetten aan tot discussie en scherpte. En verwonderen en verbinden met data-kunst\, -design en -film. \nOntmoeten\nVertegenwoordigers van bedrijven\, overheidsorganisaties en onderwijsinstellingen en studenten en inwoners ontmoeten elkaar\, inspireren elkaar en leren van elkaar. De pijlers van onze stad – Toonaangevende Datastad\, Stad van Ontmoeten en Cultuurstad van het Zuiden – komen ook deze zomer weer samen in Data Week NL. Terecht. Want het belang is evident. Data matters. A lot. Voor iedereen. Zorg dat je erbij bent!
